Introducing a new screening blood test for dogs that can help detect cancer and monitor treatment.
Disease

Cancer is the most common cause of death in dogs over the age of 2 years in the US.

Earlier detection of cancer can improve the quality of life of a dog and provide more quality time with its owner.

Yet, as of today, unlike the human healthcare world where screening for certain cancers is commonplace, there are few cancer screening tests on the veterinary market.

Currently, dogs are typically diagnosed when they are unwell or there is a suspicion of cancer. Even then dogs suspected of having cancer are required to undergo a variety of diagnostic tests that may be expensive, time consuming, and painful for the animal.

Our Solution

Introducing the Nu.Q® Vet Cancer Test

Our Nu Q® Vet Cancer Test was developed with the goal of providing an accessible and affordable screening test to aid in early detection of cancer in dogs.

It is a simple blood screening test which can be easily integrated into your dog’s annual wellness check, if they are 7 years and older.

It may also be used as a complementary test for younger dogs, (4 years and older) which are breeds with an increased risk for developing cancer in their lifetime.

Understanding the Benefits of Canine Cancer Screening.

    • Screening refers to tests performed on healthy, asymptomatic patients who have disease but do not yet have symptoms. The Nu.Q® Vet Cancer Test can be done as a simple blood test as part a routine wellness check.
    • Screening is the first step in catching disease early, which can allow for better treatment outcomes once diagnosed.
    • As cancer develops in the body, screening plays an important part in identifying it sooner before it has spread.
    • We are used to screening for human cancers – the Nu.Q® Vet Cancer Test offers an aid to early cancer detection in dogs.
    • The Nu.Q® Vet Cancer Test is widely available in the USA, Europe, Australia, and Asia. Ask your veterinarian about adding this test to your next visit.
