International Women’s Day 2025

March 06, 2025

Through our previous blogs, we’ve had the privilege of hearing from women in various roles at Volition, sharing their experiences and insights on working in the STEM industry. Their stories have highlighted the importance of diversity and inclusion in this ever-evolving field.

This International Women’s Day, we want to celebrate the incredible contributions of women at Volition. They have been instrumental in driving innovation, research, and shaping the work we do in meaningful ways.

Demonstrating their expertise and dedication, eight women at Volition hold a PhD, showcasing their commitment to advanced research and deep knowledge in their fields. Another ten have earned a master’s degree, bringing a wealth of specialised skills to our team. Together, the women at Volition have contributed an impressive 180 years of combined work experience—an incredible testament to dedication, hard work, and impact on our organisation.

Innovation is at the heart of Volition, and many of our female colleagues have been at the forefront of scientific discovery. Several women have been named as inventors or have made significant contributions to Volition’s patents, including Terry, Priscilla, Marielle, Julie, Annalisa, Brandi, and Heather.

The success of Volition is built on the talent and passion of our people. These achievements serve as a powerful reminder of why gender diversity is so vital in the workplace and the positive impact it has on scientific and technological advancements.

On this International Women’s Day, we proudly recognise the outstanding women at Volition and reaffirm our commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where women in STEM—and beyond—can thrive.
